Meet the New Miss Maine [VIDEO]

21-year-old Kristin Korda is the new Miss Maine.  Korda won the crown at the state’s pageant Saturday night in Brunswick.

Korda, from Saco, is a third year student at the Southern Maine Community College. Her pageant platform was ‘Big Brothers, Big Sisters,’ and she sang in the talent portion of the competition.

Korda takes over the title from Molly Bouchard of Caribou.

She will represent the state of Maine at the upcoming Miss America 2014 pageant this September in Atlantic City.
