Miami Pounds Black Bears 5-0 [VIDEO]

The Miami RedHawks broke open a scoreless game with three goals in the second period and went on to blank the UMaine Black Bears 5-0 Saturday night.

Anthony Louis scored early in the period for the RedHawks and then two powerplay goals by Louie Belpedio made it 3-0.

Miami added two more goals in the third to leave no doubt who was the best team this night.

Rob McGovern made 28 before giving way to freshman Stephen Mundinger.

Ryan Larkin made 33 saves for Miami.

Maine is now 3-2-1 and head to Colgate next weekend.
