A meth lab in South Thomaston was busted today by Maine Drug Enforcement Agents. A team of agents collected evidence of meth and other paraphernalia used to prepare the dangerous drug.

Police officers arrested Paul Mahonen, 36, and charged him with Class B, Trafficking in Methamphetamine. He was taken to the Knox County Jail and his bail was set at $5,000.

This is the third meth lab bust this year, according to MDEA. Last year, officers responded to 13 meth labs.
