Troopers and Lebanon Rescue responded to the crash on the Little River Road around 9:30 p.m., according to State Police spokesman Steve McCausland. The driver, Gloria Dubois of North Berwick lost control of her vehicle entering a private driveway, McCausland said. The car struck a fence and a tree and then overturned.

Dubois was alert but trapped in the vehicle when medical personnel arrived.  After being freed she went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived, McCausland said.

Family members told police that Dubois may have been suffering from a medical condition prior to the crash. State Police will continue to work with the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of the crash and the woman's death.
