With a week to go until their season opener the Boston Red Sox showed they are rounding into shape with a 14-2 win over Minnesota.The Sox offense exploded for 6 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning which was highlighted by Mike Napoli's 4th homerun of the spring. David Ortiz also drove in a run as part of his 2-rbi night.

Justin Masterson got the start and had his best performance of the spring. The righty worked 5.2 innings where he allowed just 5 hits and an unearned run. Masterson struckout 4 and gave up just one walk.

Mookie Betts continued to lock down the starting centerfield position with a couple warning track catches that took extra bases away from the Twins.

The Sox have five more spring training games left before opening the season Monday in Philadelphia.
