Snoop Dogg sparked a bit of controversy with his latest "Lavender" music video, which features him putting a gun to Donald Trump's head. The West Coast rap veteran has been showing his distaste for Trump ever since he was running his campaign, and it looks like he's going the distance to make a strong statement against him.

The video was directed by Jesse Wellens, and Michael Rapaport plays a clown, who ends up being shot by a police officer. There’s also a clown made to look like Donald Trump, who meets a grim ending once Snoop catches up to him. Snoop also speaks on police brutality on the song.

“Trying to keep from dying in these motherf—– streets / F— the police, from a black man’s point of view,” he raps.

The video is nothing new for longtime fans of Snoop, who are used to him speaking his mind. But Senator Marco Rubio says he thinks it could inspire some folks to want to assassinate Trump.

"He shouldn’t have done that," Rubio told TMZ. "We’ve had Presidents assassinated before in this country, so anything like that is something you should really be careful about. People can disagree on policy, but we have to be really careful about that kind of thing. Because the wrong person sees that and gets the wrong idea and you could have a real problem. I’m not sure what Snoop is thinking but he should think about that."

Take a look at what Rubio said in the video above.
