State Police have arrested an 18-year-old Mapleton man for Terrorizing and Criminal Mischief.

Troop F received a 911 call reporting that a vehicle was being damaged and the lights had been broken out.  State Police Trooper Andrew Levesque was responding and came across Jarred Knight’s vehicle on Main Street in Mapleton.  Trooper Levesque stopped the vehicle and identified Knight and a female juvenile, police said

The victim came to the scene and identified Knight as one of the persons involved in the damage.  Knight was transported to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton where bail will be set, said police.

Aroostook County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Foley assisted Trooper Levesque with the traffic stop in Mapleton.  This incident is still under investigation by Trooper Levesque.  There were no injuries sustained during the incident.
