A 41-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both from Hartland, NB, were arrested after the West District RCMP executed a search warrant for drugs at a home in Hartland on April 30.

RCMP officers from the Woodstock and Saint-Léonard detachments conducted the search. They also seized a quantity of drugs from the residence.

Jeremy Macaskill and Melissa Trecartin were both charged with possession of cocaine and cannabis for the purpose of trafficking and with possession of methamphetamine, said the RCMP. They appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court on May 1, and were released from custody. They are scheduled to appear in court again on May 29, at 9:30 a.m.
