RCMP have arrested two Moncton women after a man was allegedly robbed at knife point at a hotel on Mountain Road in Moncton around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The two women were apprehended less than ten hours later.

Carolyn Warnock, 26, and Andréanne Blais, 21, appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on Wednesday and were each charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

Blais was also charged with breach of an undertaking.  They were both remanded in custody.

Warnock is expected back in court on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.for a bail hearing while the bail hearing for Blais is set for April 8.  The investigation continues.
