The West District RCMP has arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a pharmacy in Stanley, N.B.

Wednesday around 1 p.m., the Keswick RCMP were called to the pharmacy, were a man entered the store with a weapon and demanded narcotics from an employee. The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of narcotics. No one was injured.

Later that same day, a 43-year-old man from Kingsley was arrested in a wooded area North of Stanley.

The investigation is continuing.
