Portland's Ryan Flaherty loves playing at Fenway Park.Never more so than the just completed weekend series when he raised his batting average from .235 to .333.

The former Deering HS standout and son of USM baseball coach Ed Flaherty played in three of the four games against the Red Sox and went 6-for-11. That includes a home run and two RBI.

Flaherty is expected to play a lot of second base now because Jonathan Schoop is on the DL with a knee injury.

The O's play Toronto for three games before facing the Red Sox again starting Friday night in Baltimore.
