Troop F of the Maine State Police responded to 124 calls for service over the past week in and around Aroostook County. Here is the Troop’s weekly report:

Incident Type: OAS Date: 9/18/2017 Town: Eagle Lake Trooper: Tr. Curtin Brief Synopsis: Tr. Curtin pulled over a vehicle in Eagle Lake for speeding. A license check on the operator showed that her right to operate had been suspended in 2006 for failing to appear in court. The license had also expired in 2008. The woman was warned for her speed and charged with operating without a license.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 9/22/2017 Town: Perham Trooper: Sgt. Clark Brief Synopsis: Sgt. Clark was assisting Tr. Kilcollins on a complaint and was informed that a 33 year old male who was the suspect on a separate non-criminal case had an active "sealed" warrant for his arrest. Tr. Kilcollins and Sgt. Clark arrested the man and he was transported him to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton

Incident Type: OAS Date: 9/23/2017 Town: Bridgewater Trooper: Tr. Bell Brief Synopsis: Tr. Bell observed a vehicle parked at a church. It was found that the male driver had a suspended driver’s license. The male drove away from the church on US 1 and was stopped and summonsed for operating after suspension.

Incident Type: BURGLARY Date: 9/23/2017 Town: Wade Trooper: Cpl. Michaud Brief Synopsis: Cpl. Michaud met with a woman from the town of Wade on Saturday evening who reported that she returned home from work and discovered that her home had been burglarized. Several items were reported stolen and a suspect has been developed. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 9/24/2017 Town: Wallagrass Trooper: Tr. Curtin Brief Synopsis: Tr. Curtin stopped an Eagle Lake woman for speeding on Route 11 in Wallagrass early on Sunday morning. A license check revealed the woman’s right to operate was currently under suspension for failing to pay a fine. The woman was warned for her speed and charged with operating after suspension.
