Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 10/10/2017 Town: Houlton Trooper: Tr. Lilley Brief Synopsis: Tr. Lilley responded to the Houlton Port of Entry after US Customs and Border Protection officers discovered a warrant for a 40-year-old female that was returning to the US from Canada. Tr. Lilley arrested the woman on the warrant and transported her to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton.

Incident Type: THEFT Date: 10/11/2017 Town: Island Falls Trooper: Tr. Adams Brief Synopsis: Tr. Adams investigated a report of theft of prescription medication. Through the course of the investigation it was determined that the female that had picked up the prescription had stolen the medication. The female was issued a summons for theft of medication class C.

Incident Type: Bomb Threat Date: 10/12/2017 Town: Stacyville Trooper: Tr. Sylvia Brief Synopsis: Tr. Sylvia responded to the Katahdin Elementary School in Stacyville for a reported bomb threat. School officials reported the incident to the State Police Barracks just before the afternoon dismissal of students. The students were dismissed on time and there was no disruption of classes. School officials and Troopers along with a State Police Explosives Detection K-9 checked the school and found no evidence of any type of explosives or harmful devices. This investigation is currently active and ongoing.

Incident Type: OUI Date: 10/13/2017 Town: T17 R4 Trooper: Tr. Desrosier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier stopped a vehicle in T17 R4 for a traffic infraction. During the stop he suspected the 55-year-old male driver was impaired. Tr. Desrosier conducted field sobriety tests and at the conclusion arrested the man for OUI. He was transported to Fort Kent PD where completed an Intoxilyzer test. The man was over the legal limit for alcohol and was bailed from the PD.

Incident Type: CRIMINAL SPEED Date: 10/14/2017 Town: Westfield Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins was conducting traffic enforcement on US Highway 1, Westfield. He observed three vehicles that appeared to be racing. He was able to clock all three vehicles, one at 86 mph, one at 82 mph, and one at 76 mph all in a 55 mph zone. The man driving 86 mph was issued a criminal summons for criminal speeding. The other two drivers received traffic tickets for speeding.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 10/14/2017 Town: Silver Ridge Trooper: Tr. Lilley Brief Synopsis: Tr. Lilley stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in Silver Ridge. During the stop Tr. Lilley learned the 47-year-old male driver had a sealed warrant for domestic violence charges. Tr. Lilley arrested the man without incident and brought him to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton.

Incident Type: BURGLARY Date: 10/14/2017 Town: Masardis Trooper: Tr. Saucier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Saucier responded to a camp burglary in Masardis. The caller reported several moose and deer antlers stolen from a shed. Investigation is ongoing.

Incident Type: ACCIDENT Date: 10/15/2017 Town: Reed Plt Trooper: Cpl. Quint Brief Synopsis: Cpl. Quint investigated a crash that occurred in Reed Plantation. The male driver was driving on the Bancroft Road towards Main Street and was not familiar with the area. The man did not realize he was at a three leg intersection, drove straight through without stopping, crashed through a steep ditch, and came to rest on the rail road tracks. The driver and its two passengers, an adult female and 3-year-old child, were not injured.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties.
