June 7 – Tr. Endre and Tr. Bell responded to the Sherman Transfer Station after a man called the Houlton RCC saying that a man had just hit his truck with a metal pipe and then assaulted him and his son. June 7 – Tr. Endre and Tr. Bell responded to Staceyville for a 54-year-old woman reporting that her 59-year-old boyfriend had assaulted her the night before and that morning. Tr. The male suspect eventually met the Troopers at his residence in Staceyville and was arrested for felony level domestic violence assault. The felony level was due to prior DV convictions. Tr. Fiske assisted in the investigation.

June 7 – Tr. Pescitelli received a call from Presque Isle Police Department requesting assistance in searching for a male subject, who lives in Mars Hill, who was wanted on a DV Assault charge. Tr. Pescitelli went to the subject’s residence, located the subject, arrested him, and transported him to Presque Isle Police Department.

June 7 – Tr. Casavant investigated a property damage crash in Hodgdon. As a result of the investigation he summonsed an 18-year-old Linneus man for operating without a license for only having a permit and operating beyond the restrictions of the permit. The young couple claimed to have a medical emergency, but the facts did not support their story.

June 8 - Tr. Curtin began investigating a shoplifting complaint from Coffin’s General Store in Portage. The owner had a plate number and name of the offender. The 20-year-old from Westbrook was located and returned the property so the store owner decided he didn’t want to press charges any longer.

June 8 – Troopers Saucier and Endre responded to Patten for a report of two men fighting. Upon Tr. Saucier’s arrival one of the men had left and he learned the altercation was due to an earlier dispute between the male and his girlfriend. The male involved in the fight did not want to cooperate with Troopers and threatened to finish it when the male returned for the way he was treating his girlfriend. No crime was alleged by the girlfriend just verbal abuse. The male eventually returned and was still confrontational and yelling at the girlfriend. Troopers stood by while the parties got belongings and separated. The female has since gotten a protection order which has been served.

June 8 – Tr. Luce is investigating an unauthorized use of a debit card that was lost in Wallagrass. The 19-year-old suspect found the card and proceeded to use it at three separate stores in the Fort Kent area. Tr. June 11 – A woman from Biddeford called the State Police reporting her mother, age 77 who has dementia, left a camp they were staying at in Monticello sometime in the night, in a Toyota Highlander. The woman stated her mother believes she is still in Biddeford and may be trying to drive home. Cpl. Quint took all of the woman’s information and asked the dispatcher to put the information into the State computer system alerting all law enforcement agencies of the missing woman. A couple hours later a Lincoln Police Officer was called to the local Wal-Mart for a woman who was acting confused. The officer spoke with the woman and when he saw what she was driving for a vehicle knew it was the woman listed in the teletype. Arrangements were made for the officer to stay with the woman and the family until the family could get to her from Monticello.

June 12 – Tr. Bell and Recruit Kilcollins responded to a domestic violence assault in Hodgdon. The two victims alleged that the female suspect assaulted them after the suspect returned home heavily intoxicated.
