Troop F of the Maine State Police responded to 133 calls for service this past week in Aroostook County and surrounding areas. Here is the Troop’s weekly report:

Incident Type: OUI Date: 1/15/2018 Town: MARS HILL Trooper: TR. PESCITELLI Brief Synopsis: Tr Pescitelli observed 2 pickup trucks park in a parking lot and then watched one operator get into the other pickup. Tr Pescitelli approached the pickup to speak to the men and further investigation would show that a 21-year-old male had been drinking alcohol and had gotten in with a friend to give him a ride home. Tr Pescitelli arrested this male for OUI.

Incident Type: HARASSMENT Date: 1/16/2018 Town: HODGDON Trooper: TR. SYLVIA Brief Synopsis: Tr. Sylvia responded to a harassment complaint in Hodgdon. A caller reported that he had been threatened by another male subject. It appeared that the threats made stemmed for an issue over a former girlfriend. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 1/16/2018 Town: STACYVILLE Trooper: TR. ADAMS Brief Synopsis: Tr Adams was running stationary radar in Staceyville and stopped a vehicle for speeding and a license check showed the male was under suspension. Tr Adams issued a criminal summons for OAS.

Incident Type: WARRANT ARREST Date: 1/19/2018 Town: WASHBURN Trooper: TR. PESCITELLI Brief Synopsis: Tr Pescitelli was conducting a warrant check in Washburn and was able to locate and arrest a 36-year-old female with an active warrant for her arrest.

Incident Type: PEDESTRIAN CRASH/ ASSIST LOCAL PD Date: 1/19/2018 Town: HOULTON Trooper: TR ADAMS Brief Synopsis: Tr Adams was driving through Houlton and observed a male walking on the side of the road and saw another person walking toward this male, but walking several feet in the roadway. An oncoming vehicle hit this person and Tr Adams called for an ambulance and Houlton PD then attended to the victim until medical personal arrived. The female victim was transported via ambulance to Houlton Hospital for head injuries, upon impact she had hit her head on the windshield.

Incident Type: STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED Date: 1/21/2018 Town: HOULTON Trooper: TR. BELL Brief Synopsis: Tr. Bell received information about a stolen chainsaw that was at a residence in Houlton. Tr Bell responded and interviewed the homeowner, who admitted that the chainsaw was in the house. Tr. Bell recovered the saw, this saw had been reported stolen earlier and Tr Duff was the primary investigator on the case.
