Troop F of the Maine State Police responded to 97 calls for service over the past week in and around Aroostook County. Here is the Troop's weekly report:

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 2/21/2017 Town: Amity Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins made traffic stop on a chip truck that who was slowed in traffic with its trailer lights barely visible. Tr. Kilcollins spoke with the male operator and ran his driver’s license. The man showed a warrant for failure to pay fine. Tr. Kilcollins placed the man under arrest and made arrangements for the truck owner to come take the chip truck and the man was transported to the jail.

Incident Type: MISSING PERSON Date: 2/22/2017 Town: Eagle Lake Trooper: Tr. Desrosier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier received a complaint of a 15-year-old runaway in Eagle Lake. The mother was reporting that her daughter had been grounded but left with a friend. Tr. Desrosier located the juvenile in Fort Kent and put her in touch with her mother.

Incident Type: OUI Date: 2/22/2017 Town: Houlton Trooper: Tr. Bell Brief Synopsis: Tr. Bell investigated an OUI crash in January and made several attempts to locate and summons the male suspect. The male’s license had been suspended due to the January incident. While driving through Houlton in the afternoon Tr. Bell observed the male driving and observed the male stop in a local business parking lot. Tr. Bell investigated the issue with the suspended license, and it was discovered that the male was intoxicated again. The male was arrested for OUI and operating after suspension, and was summonsed for OUI related to the male’s January crash. Tr. Levesque assisted at the scene.

Incident Type: OUI Date: 2/23/2017 Town: New Canada Trooper: Tr. Desrosier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier received a report of a possible intoxicated driver and was able to locate the vehicle in Eagle Lake and make a traffic stop. The man was on multiple sets of bail conditions with no use or possession of drugs or alcohol. Tr. Desrosier conducted field sobriety tests and placed the man under arrest. Tr. Desrosier transported the man to Fort Kent PD where the Intoxilyzer was administered. The man was charged with OUI and Violation of conditions of release and then transported to ACJ.

Incident Type: OAR HO Date: 2/25/2017 Town: Crystal Trooper: Tr. Adams Brief Synopsis: Tr. Adams stopped a vehicle for speeding on Rt. 159 in Crystal. The operator admitted to Tr. Adams that he did not have a valid license. Tr. Adams discovered that the operator was revoked/habitual offender with one prior conviction. The operator was arrested and transported to ACJ and charged with Operating after HO Revocation Class C.
