Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 4/17/2017 Town: Mars Hill Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins located and arrested a 31-year-old female who had three active arrest warrants. The woman is known to run from law enforcement. Tr. Kilcollins secured the woman in his cruiser after locating her at a residence in Mars Hill and transported her to the jail.

Incident Type: Theft Date: 4/17/2017 Town: Monticello Trooper: Tr. Casavant Brief Synopsis: Tr. Sylvia began investigating a theft case where a 46-year-old woman applied for and obtained a new credit card in her grandmother’s name then charged $600 on it. The grandmother suffers from dementia and the report was made by concerned family members. The case remains under investigation and charges are pending.

Incident Type: CRIMINAL SPEED Date: 4/18/2017 Town: T11 R4 Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: At approximately 1400 hours Tr. Pescitelli was running stationary radar on Route 163 in T11-R4. After just clearing a traffic stop he observed a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed. Tr. Pescitelli turned around and started to follow the vehicle as it turned around a bend. After making the same turn Tr. Pescitelli noticed the vehicle was a lot further away. Tr. Pescitelli activated his front radar and locked the vehicle’s speed at 102 mph in a 50 mph zone. After initiating a traffic stop on the vehicle Tr. Pescitelli walked up to the driver and could smell the odor of overworked brake pads from the vehicle. The driver stated he was heading home from class at NMCC to Eagle Lake. The driver was summonsed for criminal speed.

Incident Type: Traffic Arrest Date: 4/21/2017 Town: Houlton Trooper: Tr. Pescitelli Brief Synopsis: Tr. Pescitelli and Tr. Adams were parked at the 301 crossover running radar on the Northbound Side when they observed a vehicle travelling at excessive rate of speed. Tr. Adams locked the vehicles speed at 88 mph in the 75 mph area. Tr. Pescitelli initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. After identifying the male driver and female passenger it was discovered that the male had a suspended driver’s license and the female had an active arrest warrant. Tr. Pescitelli arrested the female for the warrant and Tr. Adams summonsed the driver for Operating After Suspension.

Incident Type: Criminal Traffic Violation Date: 4/21/2017 Town: Saint Agatha Trooper: Tr. Desrosier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier stopped a vehicle in Saint Agatha for speeding. During the course of the stop he discovered the driver, a 27-year-old female, had an expired driver’s license greater than 90 days. The woman had not renewed her driver’s license and was issued a criminal summons for the violation. Her passenger had a valid license, was not impaired, and was able to drive them to their destination.

Incident Type: ASSIST OTHER AGENCY Date: 4/22/2017 Town: Easton Trooper: Cpl. Quint  Brief Synopsis: Cpl. Quint assisted Presque Isle PD and Sheriff’s Department with searching for a 37-year-old male. Presque Isle PD had information that the male was involved in a domestic violence incident in a vehicle in their town. As the PD searched for the vehicle they obtained information it may be in Easton. While the deputy and I were checking numerous residences for the described vehicle, the PD located the man at a motel in Presque Isle and arrested. There was also a no-bail warrant for the male for drug charges from MDEA.
