April 10  – Troopers dealt with a suspicious male running out of gas in various parts of the County each day from 4/10-4/14. Tr. Luce dealt with the man in Ashland and Tr. Darcy dealt with the man in Patten and Island Falls. The man lives in Medway and was driving around until he would run out of gas. The man would then sit in his vehicle since he had no phone and no money. He was given gas by a wrecker service and a Game Warden on two different occasions that he had run out of gas. He was also instructed to drive home with the gas but instead continued to drive around the area until again running out. On April 14, Tr. Darcy made contact with the man’s sister and learned he was off his medication. The vehicle was towed and he got a ride to her residence where she stated she would keep an eye on him. The man was not violent, his behavior was just odd. He had no reason for being in the area, he continued to talk about people he knew but did not know their names or where they lived.
