Maine State Police Honor John Ford Sr. [PHOTO]

The Maine State Police shared a post on their Facebook as a tribute to John Ford Sr. who passed away.

It is with tremendously heavy hearts that the members of the Sheriff’s Office say goodbye to one of our own.

John Ford Sr. was a career Maine Game Warden, author of numerous books and articles, an amazing story teller, accomplished artist and our own Waldo County Sheriff from 1990 to 1998.

With his many accomplishments in life he will be remembered by the members of our agency as a dearly loved friend. His quick wit, infectious laugh and smiling face will be forever remembered. Rest in Peace old friend, we have the watch from here!
