MADD Walk in Houlton Honors Aroostook Woman Killed by Drunk Driver
Saturday, August 20th in Houlton, there will be the first official Mothers Against Drunk Driving walk taking place. It's the only official MADD walk in Maine this year.
The Troop F Barracks in Houlton sits on Darcie Drive which is named after Darcie Hutchinson of Houlton who was tragically killed by a drunk driver on Sept. 13, 1996 in Connecticut.
The land the Houlton Barracks sits on was obtained from her family and the street leading to the Barracks was named Darcie Drive.
