Two warrants were served at a residence on Center Street in Oakland and another at the Fireside Inn in Waterville, according to Public Safety Department spokesman Stephen McCausland,

A wing of the hotel was evacuated and police seized a vehicle in Skowhegan as evidence. The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said evidence of a methamphetamine lab was discovered in a motel room.

Four men and two women were arrested. They are: Christopher McEachern, 27; Corey Stevens, 22; James Bell, 43; Katherine Tibbets, 48; and Rachel Wolfe, 26, all of Oakland and Eric Finnemore, 35, of the southern Aroostook town of Linneus.

Finnemore is charged with trafficking and manufacturing methamphetamine. The others were charged with possession and/or trafficking in the dangerous drug.  All six suspects were taken to the Kennebec County Jail.

The search warrants were part of a two-month investigation in Central Maine. State and local police and Kennebec County sheriff’s office were also involved in the investigation.
