Limestone Man Arrested After Drug Bust on Maine Turnpike

Maine State Police say a Limestone man arrested early Monday morning on the Maine Turnpike with a significant amount of drugs in his car also had his young son with him.

Troopers pulled over 37-year old Alan Dziob in Wells around 1:30 a.m. Police said it appears Dziob was returning to Maine from another New England state with cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and suboxone. He was arrested and taken to the York County Jail.

Also in the car was the man’s 12-year-old son and the family dog, police say.  An animal control officer took the dog and Troopers drove the boy 330 miles north to his home in Limestone.

This was the second time in three days that Dziob was cited for drug violations. Thursday night around midnight, state police stopped his car on the Turnpike in Litchfield. He allegedly had cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and suboxone in the car that time as well.

Police say Dziob’s girlfriend, 35-year-old Krystle Buchiere of Limestone was driving. A five-year-old child was also in the car, along with the dog.

Troopers summonsed the couple after seizing the drugs.  Police say the drugs from both busts had a street value of several thousand dollars .

Dziob formerly lived in Connecticut.
