The battery mates of Sandy Leon and Eduardo Rodriguez guided the Sox to a 5-2 win and a chance to sweep the three game series on Sunday night.

Rodriguez and CC Sabathia battled back and forth in the contest until the Sox took the slight upper hand and a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning on a RBI single by Leon.  The catcher would strike again in the sixth inning with a three run blast.  Leon went 2-4 with four RBIs and is now hitting .458 on the year.

Rodriguez picked up the victory, going seven innings and allowing just one earned run.  Koji Uehara had his sixth save with a perfect ninth inning.

Boston is now 51-38 on the season, but did not gain any ground on the Baltimore Orioles who also won on Saturday.  The Sox will go for the sweep on Sunday night as David Price gets the start against Masahiro Tanaka at 8 p.m.
