Lauren Jauregui and Michael Clifford Crowned PopCrush Prom King and Queen of 2016
You came. You saw. You voted. You voted again. And again. And again and again.
And now, after weeks of voting and nearly 100,000 votes in just the final round alone (!), the worthy title-bearers of PopCrush Prom King and Queen of 2016 have been selected: It's Lauren Jauregui and Michael Clifford!
The two crushed their respective final rounds, with the Fifth Harmony pop superstar successfully triumphing over Chloe Grace Moretz by over 68% of the vote for Prom Queen. 5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford faced a slimmer battle, but he came out victorious with over 56% of the vote. They take their crowns from last year's winners: Ariana Grande and Harry Styles.
Congratulations to these two for taking it all the way to the end, and to all the fans who worked tirelessly to make sure the crown was securely fastened on their fave's head.
