Shortly after Kehlani announced her new album SWEETSEXYSAVAGE will be dropping in January, she released her another single off the project, "Advice".

The grammy-nominated singer premiered the song on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show this morning. The song, produced by Pop & Oak, is an emotional ballad about a man she loves but knows the relationship is toxic. She has to take her own advice to get through it all. K explains to Lowe where the inspiration behind the song comes from.

"I was just out of a really bad relationship with someone who I really thought was going to be like the one person for me and ended up showing me so many times that they weren't," Kehlani said. "I realized there’s a bunch of girls who are going through the same thing and they needed to hear from somebody."

SWEETSEXYSAVAGE is set to release January 27, 2017, and will feature the singles “CRZY” and “Distraction” as well.

"You can expect a lot of really fun vibes," Kehlani said referring to the album. "It's a lot bigger I think. I'm really proud of the growth that it's taken. It's a lot of fun. It's a lot of inspiration. It's a lot of making you feel good about yourself. A lot of self-acceptance. So that's really the basis of this album."

Fans can pre-order the album as of today, December 1. In the meantime, listen to "Advice" below.
