Kanye West’s Building Paranoia Partly Caused His Hospitalization
Kanye West remains in the hospital after being admitted on Monday (Nov. 21) following the cancellation of the Saint Pablo Tour. It was initially reported that a Dr. Michael Farzam called police to come get Kanye for “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.” Now TMZ is reporting West was also suffering from serious paranoia.
According to the site's sources, 'Ye was convinced people were out to get him and would not even let doctors care for him because he feared for his safety. This is a problem that has been mounting for a while, according to the source, with Yeezy getting more and more edgy in recent weeks.
West has been recovering. His family planned to have him home for Thanksgiving, but doctors have kept him for additional observation, reports TMZ. They are now hoping he will be able to be released as early as Monday.
There has been an outpouring support for 'Ye from fans and fellow artists as he gets help. Most recently, former rhyme partner GLC opened up about West's current situation. "I prayed that my buddy wouldn’t get caught up in the rapture," he posted on Instagram. "Mama West asked us to watch over & protect her son. I love him & I sincerely apologize for letting you down. However he is on the road to recovery & we gladly receive the blessings! Thank you to all who have sent their blessings, the Ancestors & the Absolute God!#GetWellSoonKanye #PrayForYe.”
