It looks like Kanye West needs more time to himself after being released from the hospital following his mental breakdown. He has yet to return home with his wife Kim Kardashian and their kids.

According to People, the two are living separate for medical reasons. "Kanye isn't at home with Kim and the kids," the source revealed. "He is instead receiving outpatient care elsewhere with a medical team. Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don't know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care."

Despite the current separate living conditions, Kim is still by West's side on his road to recovery. “There are frustrations and problems, like any relationship, but they love each other deeply,” the source added.

West was released from the hospital on Nov. 30. He reportedly left under the care of Kim and his physician Dr. Michael Farzam. The Chicago native was initially admitted for “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration” following the cancellation of the Saint Pablo Tour.

Kanye’s stepbrother Hal Carmichael has pointed to Kim's recent robbery as one of the major factors in West having a breakdown. “No one thought Paris would happen in a million years and now he’s seen it happen to Kim, it’s traumatizing,” Carmichael said. “Ye is tired, he’s hurt, he feels betrayed and he’s probably feeling depressed."

The anniversary of his mother's death has also been cited as a reason behind Kanye's problems.
