Kanye West began the new year by taking his wife Kim Kardashian and their two children to visit his mother Donda West's grave in Oklahoma City.

According to TMZ, the "family pilgrimage" was something West deemed really important. They reportedly linked up with other members of Kanye's family afterwards. However, this was not the first time Yeezy took his family to visit his mother's gravesite.

It's good to see that Kanye has started off 2017 in the right way. The Life of Pablo creator had a very rough last few months of 2016. In October, his wife was the victim of an armed robbery. A little over a month later, Kanye canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour after checking into a hospital to deal with "temporary psychosis."

Kanye has seemingly come a long way since entering the hospital. Last week, Yeezy was working out five to six days a week to help improve his mental health. Apparently the workout sessions have led him to being "more present" in the lives of his wife and children because he’s been able to work through his frustrations at the gym.

Perhaps giving us another indication that things are improving in the world of Yeezy is the fact that he's been hard at work in the studio since returning from the hospital. About two weeks ago, Lil Uzi Vert claimed that he and Yeezy had been in the booth recently. Just the other day, Kanye appeared on "Feel Me," a new song featuring himself and new G.O.O.D. Music signee, Tyga.
