Justin Bieber has squared away another legal flap, as he's settled a lawsuit with a photographer who claimed he was assaulted by Bieber's bodyguard in an alleged 2014 incident.

As TMZ first reported in 2014, paparazzo Manuel Munoz claimed he was photographing the "Sorry" singer as he exited Miami's SET Nightclub in January of 2014. One of Bieber's bodyguards allegedly pursued Munoz on the notoriously photo-averse pop star's behalf, ultimately chasing him into a nearby Subway sandwich shop. Munoz claimed the bodyguard cornered him in the Subway bathroom after locking the restaurant's door, demanding he delete the photos.

While the bodyguard did reportedly confiscated camera's the memory card, according to the police report filed at the time, Munoz didn't report suffering any kicks or punches that evening — just a "small scratch in his left knee." Though Bieber wasn't present during the fracas, he definitely had a bad night: It occurred on the same evening he was arrested for a DUI.

Of the suit at the time, Bieber's attorney Howard Weitzman said in a statement, "This new lawsuit filed by a paparazzo is yet another shakedown for money. The paparazzo admits that Justin was not present at the alleged 'assault.' The paparazzo told the police he had only scratched his knee when he was allegedly tripped, but now claims he was beat up. There are no damages."

A judge had given Bieber until the end of October to report to Miami for a deposition on the incident, according to TMZ. Now the case has been settled, with Munoz receiving an undisclosed amount.  Onward and upward.
