For the past couple of months, Jesse Williams has been fodder for the tabloids after he filed for divorce from his wife Aryn Drake-Lee back in April after five years of marriage. Rumors have surfaced that the Grey’s Anatomy actor cheated on his wife with Minka Kelly, who he was working with on a video game project.

In the new JAY-Z mini-documentary, “Footnotes for 4:44,” Williams lashes out at the media for reporting false information about his marriage.

“I was in a relationship 13 years—13 real years, not five years, not seven years, 13 years - and all of a sudden mother f---ers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship, like the most painful experience I’ve had in my life like with a person I’ve loved with all of my heart, that I threw a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute,” Williams says in the 11-minute video (via E! News).

Although Williams said that the divorce is amicable, last month, Jesse and his attorney's alleged that Aryn has refused his request for more time with the two children, Maceo Williams and Sadie Williams, according to E! News. Both parents argued that they are solely interested in the best interests of their children and protecting their privacy.

The "Footnotes from 4:44" visual also features celebrities like Chris Rock, Chris Paul, Kendrick Lamar, Anthony Anderson and others discussing the ups and downs of love and marriage in the public eye. Watch the "Footnotes from 4:44" clip on Tidal.com.
