The Husson Eagles pounded out 491 yards of offense and beat Gallaudet University 50-16 Saturday afternoon. And, that's with tailback John Smith seeing limited time with an ankle  injury.

The Eagles outgained the Bison 491 to 117.

Smith left the game in the first half with 52 yards. The ankle does not appear to be serious.

Chuck Browne was the leading rusher with 74 yards.

QB Corey Brandon throw three TDs and was 11-for-17 and 210 yards.

TB Obie Christmas scored two TDs. Jean Gabriel had a 21-yard interception return for a TD.

The Eagles are now 2-0 in the ECFC and 4-1 overall. Gallaudet falls to -4.
