HS Hoops Begins One Week From Today

With one week to go before the games count, many high school basketball and hockey teams are spending today and tomorrow playing in some preseason tournaments.

For hoops fans looking to see some preseason action, multi-team tourneys will be played in Hampden, Lee Academy, Hodgdon, Washburn, Edward Little, Oxford Hills, South Portland and Gardiner among other locations.

High school basketball will have a new look with the 5-class setup (AA, A, B, C, D).

When the regular season begins next Friday, Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com will have you covered with live play-by-play of many of the great matchups throughout the season.
