Houlton Woman Arrested in Columbia Street Meth Bust

A 48-year-old Houlton woman has been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, and officials say more arrests may follow after a drug bust in a residential neighborhood.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at a 2-unit apartment house on Columbia Street in Houlton Tuesday evening and returned with a second warrant Wednesday morning.

The Houlton Police Department, Houlton Fire Department and Maine Department of Environmental Protection were also on scene.

Toni Bulley of Houlton was arrested for unlawful trafficking of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule W drugs.  She is being held in the Aroostook County Jail on $10,000 cash bond.

The MDEA's  Aroostook County task force said that both units in the apartment had evidence of drugs, and more arrests are possible.  The site is less than a half-mile from two Houlton schools.
