The Town of Hartland, New Brunswick and the Hartland Potato Festival are accepting nominees for the The Barney Delong Award for Volunteerism.

Officials say volunteerism enriches the community and makes many activities and resources available that would not otherwise exist.

The Town of Hartland commits to recognizing and celebrating outstanding volunteer service. During the Annual Potato Festival, tribute is paid to an individual "who went above and beyond and exemplifys the true potential of volunteers to make a difference in their communities."
