The Hampden Academy Broncos came from behind to secure a 51-50 victory over the Bangor Rams at Red Barry Gymnasium on a last second basket.

Junior forward Ian McIntyre got a pass into the right block with just seconds left on the clock and banked the shot in to give Hampden the narrow one point lead.  Bangor had a chance to answer with three seconds remaining, but could not get the shot off in time.

McIntyre had a double-double with 12 points, including the game winner.  Bryce Lausier also chipped in with 12 points off four three pointers that he hit in the final quarter of the game.

The Bangor Rams had the lead at 16 points in the second half, but Hampden kept chipping away during the contest to get up the eventual victory.  Damien Vance and Marc Hutchings each led the Rams in points with 11.  The game also marked the first home game of the season for Bangor after snow had moved the team's prior slated contest.

Hampden is 6-0 on the season and will host Camden Hills on Tuesday.  The Rams dropped to 1-4 and will host the Brewer Witches on Tuesday night.
