Halle Berry will be joining VH1's Dear Mama special that's set to air on Monday, May 8. Fresh off an appearance at the Met Gala, it's been announced that the superstar actress will be among those honoring moms.

According to Billboard, the Hollywood star will be honoring a mother from the Jenesse Center, a non-profit organization that deals with domestic violence during the special.

Also making appearances will be Mary J. Blige, who may perform something off her new Strength of a Woman album. Plus, Kelly Rowland will be there, as well as DJ Khaled, Robin Thicke, Ludacris and Maxwell. The event will also be hosted by Anthony Anderson and the newly single La La Anthony.
