Husson University basketball teams went on the road and picked up two impressive wins over Castleton with the men winning 88-60 and the women 57-49.Kissy Walker's women's team did something no other North Atlantic Conference team has done this season, beat the defending champs Castleton State. Chandler Guerrette scored a team high 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to help the Eagles improve to 9-2 in the conference and get within a game of the first place Spartans in the standings.

Husson's post players also played a key role in the win with Stephanie Comstock dumping in 15 points and Katy Brochu 11. The two also combined to pull down 14 boards. Husson is now 11-6 overall while Castleton drops to 10-1 in the NAC, 14-4 overall.

The first place Husson men put four players in double figures on their way to an 88-60 win over the Spartans. The Eagles took control early in this game to get the season sweep of Castleton and were led by Raheem Anderson and Trevon Butler who each scored 21 points. Aaron Willis added 13 points and freshman Mitch Worcester finished with 11.

Husson's win combined with a loss by Colby-Sawyer, the number two team in the conference gives Warren Caruso's team a full game lead in the standings. The Eagles are now 10-1 in the NAC and improve to 14-3 overall. Both Husson teams are back in action tonight with games at Green Mountain College.
