To the surprise of many, the Boston Celtics are in the playoffs and a big reason why is the play of Isaiah Thomas off the bench. Voters for the NBA's Sixth man award however do not feel he is the best sub in the league.Lou Williams of the Toronto Raptors won that award Monday and not Thomas who actually has better numbers in several offensive categories. Thomas was the runner-up for the award after receiving 33 of the 130 first place votes, Williams collected 78.

The Celtics guard could possibly use that snub as motivation as Boston squares off against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight in game two of the Eastern Conference playoff series. Boston will try to put two halves together tonight, something they could not do in game one when they trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half.

A key to the Celtics getting the series tied before heading back to Boston will be the play of guard Avery Bradley. He was just 3-10 shooting in game one after finishing the season as the teams second leading scorer.

You can hear game 2 tonight on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket with coverage starting at 6:30pm.
