Fort Kent's Austin Theriault will go through his first full practice session in an ARCA race car today at Daytona Speedway in Florida. He is debuting this week in the #52 Chevy and the Kenny Schrader Racing Team.

ARCA (American Racing Club of America) is a feeder system for NASCAR. Theriault is hoping his full-time ride with the Schrader Team will get him to NASCAR full-time down the road.

Car owner Kenny Schrader is a former NASCAR cup driver.

Theriault had the second fasting time (188.363 MPH) during ARCA Daytona testing last month.

The ARCA teams will practice today and tomorrow. The first race of the season is Saturday afternoon at 4pm.
