Four people are have been reported as temporarily homeless after a fire destroyed a two-story home in Moncton.

According to the Canadian Red Cross - the blaze broke out on Peter Street around 11 p.m. Sunday.

The Red Cross had emergency lodging, food, clothing and other support for the four people, including two students of the nearby Université de Moncton.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause has not been released.
