Fans Name the Rappers They’re Thankful For

And just like that, Thanksgiving is basically here, and many people across the country are taking time to let people know what they're thankful for. While just about everyone is thankful to be alive, and for their family, jobs, etc., they're also thankful for the folks that take up so much space on their iPhones -- namely, rappers.

Thanks to the Internet and the rise of random mixtape releases, the world of hip-hop is producing more fire than ever before. It feels like fans rarely ever have to worry about going without music from their favorite artists for any prolonged period of time. By the end of 2016, Gucci Mane will have released at least 2 projects of his own. Young Thug himself has dropped three bodies of work since the year began. With that in mind, it's clear that rap fans have a lot of rappers to be thankful for, and XXL took to Twitter to ask fans which ones they were grateful to have in the rap game. We weren't all that surprised by the names that popped up.

One fan wrote that he was thankful for Wiz Khalifa for "making him have a different view about different things." Another was thankful that Fetty Wap just dropped his Zoovier mixtape just in time to heat-up the winter. Travi$ Scott Kodak Black, J. Cole, Logic, G.
