Faith Evans returns to Notorious B.I.G.’s old stomping grounds in Brooklyn in her touching video for “Legacy.” The song features unreleased rhymes from Biggie as well as Evans singing elegiac lyrics to her late husband.

In the video, directed by Rock Davis and Jay Rodriguez, Evans visits B.I.G.’s mother's house on St. James Pace and Fulton Street in Brooklyn and performs her song on the stoop where Biggie shot his video for “Juicy.”

“I knew from the very first moment / That you were a king fit just for a queen,” she sings. “I could tell from day one that you were for me / Who knew that this love would be the legacy.”

The clip also intercuts with old footage and photos of Evans and B.I.G. in much happier times along with fellow Brooklynites Maino and Lil Cease reciting the late rapper’s verses.

“If there were a title track for The King & I, it would be 'Legacy.' This song absolutely sums up the theme of the album," Evans told Billboard.

Faith Evans' Notorious B.I.G. duet album, The King & I, will drops on May 21, which would have been Biggie's 45th birthday. The massive 25-song collection will feature guest appearances from Lil’ Cease, 112, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Lil’ Kim, The LOX and more. In addition, Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, narrates the project.
