They honored the record breakers and longtime race director Mary Cady at the EMITL / PVC championship meet Friday evening at the UMaine fieldhouse.

Cady directed her final indoor meet after more than two decades coordinating high school meets.

As for the record breakers, Bangor High School senior Rihan Smallwood  broke her own EMITL pole vault record by three inches. Johann Bradley from Hampden Academy also broke his own record, pole vaulting 14-feet 6-inches.

Brewer High School senior Austin Lufkin threw the shot put just over 59-feet to win that event. His throw was a couple of inches less than the record he set last week. Bangor won the team title in the shot put.
