According to HITS Daily Double, Eminem's new album, Revival is expected to top the Billboard 200 this week.

The project, which dropped on Dec. 15, is expected to move to move 250,000 to 260,000 units (sale plus streaming) with 180,000 to 190,000 coming in pure album sales. If he does indeed top the charts, this would be the Detroit rapper's eight UK no. 1 album in a row.

Although he's expected to hit no. 1, the sales are vastly different from his previous top albums. In 2013, his  Marshall Mathers LP 2 moved 792,000 units in its first week. If the projections are accurate, Revival will garner Eminem’s worst first week sales since 1999’s Slim Shady LP, which sold 283,000 copies. Of course, this is indicative of overall album sales across the board, which have dropped off dramatically over the past few years

The final tallies will be released on Dec. 25. The album is packed with interesting collaborations, namely from pop singers. Among the guests appearing on the LP are rising rapper Phresher, R&B sensation Kehlani, singer-pianist Alicia Keys, singer-songwriter Skylar Grey and pop superstars Pink and Ed Sheeran. Of course, Beyoncé is featured on the lead single, "Walk On Water," which shot to no. 1 last month.
