In the event this whole acting thing doesn't work out, Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne has a clear fallback alternative: animal impressionist.

Redmayne, who stars in the forthcoming Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Themwill chat with Ellen Degeneres on the comedian's talk show today (November 2) about the new creature-heavy film. More importantly, he'll pretend to be an elephant and a monkey in the name of successfully completing a round of Degeneres' Heads Up! game. YOUR FAVE THESPIAN COULD NEVER!!!

In the preview above, Degeneres tries to guess several Animal Kingdom members that Redmayne mimes, and as soon as the actor gets on all fours and snorts like a pig, it's clear he's in this thing to win it. Still, when it comes to a "seal" clue, Redmayne kind of falls apart, and mimes what can only be described as a suffering boar.

"What was that? That was a seal?!" Degeneres asks, sensing Redmayne's disappointment. "It kinda was..."

And though the duo doesn't reach the intended goal of 10 correct answers, the host still gives each audience member a ticket to Fantastic Beasts.

And on the topic of the J.K. Rowling universe, there's more good news — the Fantastic Beasts sequel will star Johnny DeppDeadline announced yesterday (November 1). The site has not revealed which character Depp will play, but hints you might see a small bit of him when the series' first film hits theaters on November 18.
