Thirty-year-old Dustin Giles pleaded guilty to the drug charges Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Bangor, according to U.S. Attorney Thomas Delahanty.

Court records say that between January 2012 to June 2014, Giles conspired with others in Aroostook County to obtain bath salts from overseas via the Internet. He then distributed the bath salts to multiple customers.

Giles will be sentenced after a presentence investigation by the U.S. Probation Office, Delahanty said.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency investigated the case, assisted by the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
