When they said Rogue One was a war movie set in the Star Wars universe, they weren’t kidding.

It’s so much a war movie in fact, than when you take the trailer for an earthbound war movie, like, say, Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Dunkirk, and layer Rogue One images over its soundtrack, they work together surprisingly well. Perfectly, in fact. Today, ScreenCrush gives you: Dunkirk One.

Nolan’s film is about a real-life World War II battle, in which Allied forces got pinned down in enemy territory, requiring an emergency rescue. Gareth Edwards’ film is about a group of Rebel soldiers on a dangerous mission to retrieve the all-important plans to the Empire’s new super-weapon, the Death Star. One is set in 1940 in France and the other is set a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, but they’re both about the same ideas: Bravery, loyalty, patriotism, and sacrifice.

For the sake of comparison, here’s the original trailer for Nolan’s Dunkirk:

Rogue One is now playing. Dunkirk opens in theaters on July 21, 2017. While you’re waiting for Christopher Nolan’s big return to the multiplex, why not check out a few other ScreenCrush trailer mashups, plus our spoiler review of Rogue One? You’ll be glad you did.
