The UMaine Black Bears hung with nationally ranked Duke for a while but in the end the Blue Devils took Bears to school 94-55 at historic Cameron Stadium in North Carolina.

Duke led 46-32 at the half and then poured it on in the second half, outscoring Maine by 25 points.

Duke's Luke Kennard had a career day scoring 35 points. The  Blue Devils dominated the stat sheet, out rebounding the Bears 49-22 and 60% to 30% shooting from the field.

Ilker Er led Maine with 20. Wes Myers had 15.

Maine falls to 2-6. Duke is now 8-1.

NOTE: The game was one of a handful of games that UMaine plays for guaranteed money, much like the football team plays. The Black Bears receive close to $90,000 dollars for playing at Duke.
