Dugas Wins Downeast Metro Tourney [SCORES]

Former MCI high school standout Gavin Dugas has won the 2nd annual Downeast Metro Amateur Golf Tournament after shooting a two day total of 3-under par.

He defeated Mike Norris and John Hayes by four shots to claim the title.

Dugas fired a 1-over par 71 at Kebo Valley Golf Course on Sunday afternoon after shooting a 4-under 67 at Bangor Muni on Sunday.

Dugas was a state champion golfer at MCI two years ago. This past year he competed on the Southern New Hampshire University golf team that finished 16th in the NCAA Division II Championship.
