More wins for Drake. Today (June 15), Billboard announces that Drizzy has broken the record for most weeks among males at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100. The Toronto rapper's 12 total weeks surpasses Justin Bieber's previous record of 11 weeks.

The accomplishment comes two days after Views tied the record for most consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Albums Chart and less than a week after it was announced the album has already been streamed over a billion times.

Billboard states that the Artist 100 Chart, "measures artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Top Album Sales and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity."

The Artist 100 Chart was started in July 2014. Since its inception, the acts with the most weeks at No. 1 are Taylor Swift (31), Drake (12), Justin Bieber (11), Adele (10) and The Weeknd (8). Drizzy is getting the biggest share of his chart points -- 46 percent -- from streaming. Digital song sales earn him the second-biggest share of his points with 23 percent.

Smash hits including "Controlla," "One Dance" and "Hype" are contributing to the success of Views, Drake's fourth studio album, which released on April 29. Despite dropping the full-length project, the OVO frontman is still putting out music, from the Gucci Mane collaboration "Back on Road," to "4 PM in Calabasas" to "For Free" with DJ Khaled.
